How to Register

Since L'Abri can only house a limited number of students at a time, please make a reservation in advance by following the guidelines below.

Check Our Opening Periods

Please make sure that your intended period of study falls within one of our opening periods. and also note any special program that might be going on. We typically open on a Friday and close a few weeks later on a Thursday. The following schedule is subject to adjustment, so please check back regularly. (SCW schedules are listed separately.)

Notice Regarding COVID-19

We will accept a small group of visitors beginnng in autumn 2021, subject to government restrictions. The schedule above may change at any time as the COVID-19 situation remains volatile.

All visitors must have tested negative on a self-test kit on the day of arrival. Please cancel your registration as soon as possible if you have a fever or a cough, or if you have recently had contact with an infected person.

Submit the Registration Form

Please download the fillable version of the Registration Form and send it as an attachment to registration@labri.kr. If you have difficulties editing the form on your computer, you may simply write your answers in your e-mail.

If you wish to register by postal mail, please print the PDF version of the form and send it to the address at the bottom of this page.

Once we have received your registration form and payment, we will let you know whether or not we can accommodate you. If you do not hear from us for 1 week, please call or email us again in case there was a mistake.

Pay Your Living Expenses

After we have confirmed your registration, please pay the living expenses for your stay, according to the rates (Korean Won) below.

Each night spent at L'Abri counts as one day. For example, if you arrive on Friday and leave on Monday, you pay for three days, not four.

If you are in Korea, you can wire transfer to our Nonghyup Central Bank account: 249-01-205546 (Account holder: L'Abri Fellowship). We also accept cheques and money orders.


On the first day, please arrive by 5:30 pm so that you can join us for supper.

On the last day, please plan to depart after breakfast, around 9:30 am.

Except in special circumstances, we do not accept one-night registrations or minors under the age of 18.

Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to speak to a worker. However, please understand that we may not be able to answer the phone during prayer, lecture, or other meetings, or during vacation periods.

Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

If possible, please give us at least a week's notice for changes or cancellations. We will be happy to issue a full refund. But please keep in mind that your sudden change of mind may deprive other people of their opportunity to stay and study at L'Abri.

If we do not hear from you in advance concerning a change or a cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of up to 20%.

If we change our opening periods, or if you need to leave early for any other reason, we will fully refund your living expenses for the remaining period.

If your financial situation does not permit you to pay us in full, please consult a L'Abri worker at the time of your registration. We do not want anyone to be deprived of the opportunity to seek the truth.

Notice to Foreign Visitors

Citizens of many countries are eligible to stay in Korea for 30-90 days without a visa, so please check whether this applies to you. If not, you will have to obtain a tourist visa from the nearest Korean embassy or consulate.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist foreign visitors with visa applications at this time. Please do not ask us to produce any affidavits or invitation letters for entrance to the Republic of Korea.
